Final Project

I created a map of Louis XVI's attempted escape from Paris during the French Revolution. Louis XVI was planning was travel to Montmedy, a Royalist town in northern France, where he was going to plan his counterrevolution. Louis didn't make it this far because the people in the town of Varennes heard he had escaped from Paris. They forced him to go back to Paris because they were worried his absence would ruin the monarchy based constitution and that they would be called traitors. The map shows his route from Paris to Varennes on June 21 and his travel back to Paris from June 22nd to the 25th.

My Car

On the printed version of this map I think the Legend is easier to see, especially for 23.1-24.9% color. Also, the colors are not as bright on the printed map except for the darkest pink color which I think stands out and looks weird even more on the printed map. Now that I have seen the printed map I would like to change the background color and maybe make the state outlines thinner or lighter.
